Actions from previous meetings

AP WT Email round to Board about EU consultation. Done

AP PB chase HF up on membership. Done

AP SO minutes onto wiki. Done

Matters arising

EU consultation was accidentally submitted just after official deadline, due to timezones.

Party incorporation

SO: Sam Clark was leading on this, because involved in NEC & Board. Had planned to continue. But it should probably involve both NEC & Board. Should establish team to put together concrete proposal to bring to NEC & Board.

JA: Sam has set up limited company (Oct 17th), so that something can be done with it if necessary.

SO: Will probably need directors -- probably from Board to reduce load on NEC. Very internal-facing thing, probably suited to Governors, with Chairman from NEC??

LD: Actually, NEC was anticipating quite the opposite, although also disagrees...

SO: Disagrees, because NEC is already complaining about having too much work, and more so in relation to the light work load for Governors

SO, WT: Would both like to be part of delegation to committee to work out solution.

PB: Willing to coordinate extra meetings, chasing people, etc.

SO: Should try to get issue added to NEC agenda as their weekly meetings provide greater leverage to get things done.

AP PB: Coordinate with NEC -- try to organise meeting on Friday 29th March.

AP PB: Chase people as required to make Party incorporation happen.

WT: Has checked documents related to existing limited company.

New web platform

AP All: Update biographies and photos. N.b. you need to create a specific "Party People" page.

Adding minutes - https://wwww.pirateparty.org.uk/node/add/minutes

SO: Probably best to add this month's minutes to the wiki, and then migrate sometime this month.

AP SO: Wiki-fy this month's minutes.

AP SO: Ongoing addition of historical Board minutes to NWP.

AP PB: Update minutes template on PiratePad to match minutes format on NWP.

AN: Shouldn't recordings of Board meetings be archived in case they're needed?  Perhaps a yearly torrent?

SO: Not terribly important -- mostly useful as aide memoire. Should extend archiving requirement to NEC? Perhaps make the archiving the NEC's problem (as they meet more often and will have more recordings)?

SO: How do we do Constitutional Amendment votes? No-one (on Board?) seems to know. In theory, no obligation on NEC to run the votes for the Board...

AP SO: Liaise with NEC to find out how to run Constitutional Amendment votes on NWP.

Constitutional Amendment Voting

SO: Not been done. Hasn't been done because we didn't want it to clash with NEC votes, then Board nominations, then waiting for NWP.

SO: As soon as NWP is up, will press on with amendment ratifications.

See AP above.

AP AN: Help SO out with administrating amendment ratification votes.

AOB

JA: thurs and fri was in brussels for founding of PPEU. v interestng. PPUK have not joined (yet?) NEC want to wait until after EU elections. AA elected as PPEU chair and selected to be put forward for EU Comissioner along with Peter Sunde (mostly a PR thing).

JA: We now have 3 EU election candidates, MA, GW, & JA. Paperwork completed, going in soon. 2 months to election. Please HELP!

Next meeting: Tuesday 29th April @ 8pm on this ear canal.
